To ensure you get a clean and smooth burn, please follow these CANDLE CARE guidelines and tips: 

• During your first burn, allow the entire surface of your candle to melt before you put it out. Creating a full melt pool enables all of the wax in your candle to burn evenly. This usually takes 3-4hrs. 
• After your first burn, remember to trim the wick to 1/4” for each subsequent burn prior to lighting. (Your candle will arrive with its wick already trimmed and ready to burn)
• Remember to place your candle on a heat resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. 
• Please burn candles within sight, and keep away from vents, open drafts, ceiling fans, flammable objects, children and pets.
• Please do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Don’t burn your candle all the way down. For safety measures, stop burning a candle when there is ¼ inch of wax left in the vessel.
• Extinguish your candle if the flame becomes too high. Before re-lighting it, let the wax cool down, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts.
